Hint of my SFM Project

Description

I just thought I'd show what I'm currently working on in SFM as a big project. Do keep in mind that I will still make and post posters whenever I'm taking a break, it will just take a while to finish my project though.

If I may recommend something for you to try, you should try making the refractive eyes brighter. By that I don't mean to put a bunch of lights onto the eyes necessarily, but to adjust the $ambientocclcolor either in the material overrides for the eye materials or the VMTs for the eyes.

If you go into the VMT for the eyeball_l and eyeball_r VMT files you should see this.

$AmbientOcclColor is the one we want to focus on. By default it's set quite low (0.33 on all values). I would set it to something higher, at least 0.5 on all values. As an example:

$AmbientOcclColor on 0.33

$AmbientOcclColor on 0.75

You can also set the brightness in the material overrides for the model, by using vector3 on the appropriate parts of the model, however, that will only affect that shot, so you'd have to do that for every shot. Modifying the VMT makes it change on everything that has that model.
